So I finally got my beater project that I've been claiming to get for the last year or so. I wanted to wait until I found a really decent car to begin with, and being only the second owner, I pretty sure my waiting has paid off.
I bought this car off of an older lady (I know...I know, that's how they all start  ) and according to her it's been sitting in a side yard carport for the last 5 or 6 years. The best $700 dollars I've ever spent. The car has a new clutch, and has come with a clean smog and title. Check it out yo!

As soon as I got it home I removed the stock park bench bumpers front and rear, which actually was a greater task then it seems. The damn bolts holding the bumpers on were rusted & fused with the frame rail. I also stripped the passenger side mirror, both wipers, the antenna, the fugly side repeaters in the rear, the moldy headliner, the hatch cover, and the nasty rear hatch carpeting.

The dash and all of the interior pieces are all in pretty damn good shape.

OG mileage!! Well that's what the odometer stopped at.

Instructions on how to use 25 year old equipment...
(IMG:http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n297/sleepydub/socalr07107.jpg)

WTF!?!?! Of course old people keep the receipts!
(IMG:http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n297/sleepydub/socalr07108.jpg)

Still strong, and with a new clutch, I'll be set until I decide to swap something else into it. :evil_devil:

Already got a set of BBS RA's with black centers going on soon thanks to Jon(verrückter vw) and I found some 195/45/15's to wrap them with, and no I will not tell you where I found them. Also the suspension should be coming soon. I plan on working mostly on suspension for the time being, and I'm going to go "euro" single round front. The driver's side fender is pretty beat, so at $60 a pop they should be on their way. The .:R might find it's self outside of the garage this winter.

Thanks for the offer bro, but I have a full set of NA bumpers that I pulled from the car sitting in my garage. I'm going to order euro plastic bumpers when it comes to that point. Thanks for the comments guys!
